Insurance, Referrals & Authorizations for Covered Procedures
Sound Plastic Surgery's goal is to provide patients with timely access to highly specialized plastic and reconstructive surgical care. If you are interested in reconstructive surgical services, please remember that at times, referrals to specialty health services require prior authorization. Our team will work collaboratively with your referring physician's office and your insurance plan to ensure that all of the requirements for referral authorization are met.
We encourage you to review your coverage policy prior to your visit with us. Each plan is different and it is important to understand the extent of your responsibilities, if you have any co-payment or deductible requirements, and if there are any limitations on how you can access the specialty care services you may sometimes need. If you have any questions, please contact your health plan's member service department.
