This 20 year old female underwent a breast reduction at Sound Plastic Surgery. A breast lift is included with a breast reduction, and this case illustrates that very well. Additionally, she had a lot of asymmetry with her right breast being much larger than her left.

As with all of their breast reductions, Dr. Cooper and Dr. Sattler use a superio-medial pedicle to provide a nicely shaped breast. Remember: what happens under the skin in a breast reduction operation is just as important as what happens with the skin! Additionally, this technique allows removal of all of the heavy breast tissue located in the lower portion of the breast. These photos were taken one and 1/2 years after her operation, and by this time these scars have faded considerably and appear as faint white lines.
