This 39 year-old female underwent a breast reduction at Sound Plastic Surgery in Seattle. This woman was bothered by neck, back, and shoulder pain due to her very heavy breasts. After over 5 lbs of breast tissue was removed, she found relief of her pain!

As with all of their breast reductions, Dr. Cooper and Dr. Sattler use a superio-medial pedicle to provide a nicely shaped breast. Remember: what happens under the skin in a breast reduction operation is just as important as what happens with the skin! Additionally, this technique allows removal of all of the heavy breast tissue located in the lower portion of the breast. These photos were taken one year after her operation, and by one year these scars have faded considerably and appear as faint white lines.
