This 42 year old female underwent a breast reduction at Sound Plastic Surgery. A breast lift is included with a breast reduction, and this case illustrates that point very nicely. In the before photos her nipples are low on the breasts and are close to her navel. Her back, neck, and shoulder pain were relieved immensely with this procedure!

As with all of their breast reductions, Dr. Cooper and Dr. Sattler use a superio-medial pedicle to provide a nicely shaped breast. Remember: what happens under the skin in a breast reduction operation is just as important as what happens with the skin! Additionally, this technique allows removal of all of the heavy breast tissue located in the lower portion of the breast.
