Dr. Sharma has extensive training in both head and neck surgery and facial aesthetics. Dr. Sharma completed her undergraduate education and medical degree at the University of Utah, where she studied Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She went on to complete her residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University at Buffalo, where she was mentored by Dr. David Sherris, former Chief of Facial Plastic Surgery at the Mayo Clinic. Her interest in combining surgical precision with artistic detail ultimately led her to specialize in facial plastic surgery.
Dr. Sharma then completed an American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) certified fellowship in Rochester, New York, with facial plastic surgeon Dr. Vito Quatela. Her fellowship focused primarily on aesthetic surgery of the face and hair, further developing the specialized skills she brings to patients at Sound Plastic Surgery.
