The result is a more youthful appearing eyelid, a defined upper eyelid fold and more visible upper eyelid surface area to which eyeshadow can be applied.
For some Asian patients, a defined eyelid fold is a desirable feature. Eyelid lift surgery for Asian patients is designed to create a sharp eyelid crease and diminish fullness of the upper eyelid.

Eyelid surgery can be performed in our clinic under local anesthesia while patients are awake. More extensive procedures are done in the operating room under anesthesia. Eyelid lift surgery can be done in combination with browlift, facelift and facial fat grafting for a total facial rejuvenation.
Recovery & Results
Recovery after eyelid lift surgery is very brief. Individual results will vary, however most patients return to work within a few days of their procedures. Eyelid sutures are removed about five days after the surgical procedure.
