Scott Sattler MD FACS
My goal is to achieve excellence in all facets of plastic and reconstructive surgery and to deliver quality care to my patients. My practice interests include cosmetic surgery of the face, breast, and body, with emphasis on rhinoplasty, cosmetic breast surgery, body contouring after massive weight loss and hair transplantation surgery. Our practice, Sound Plastic Surgery, serves patients in the Seattle metropolitan area, Washington, Canada and surrounding states. I am a board-certified Plastic Surgeon practicing in Seattle, Washington.
Background
I was raised in Clayton, California, a small town in Northern California. My Dad was a mechanical engineer and my mother was a school teacher. I attended college at the University of California, San Diego and studied Molecular Biology and Health Care Ethics. I have a wonderful family with two young children. My personal interests include cycling, off-roading and camping, Brazilian jiu jitsu and Crossfit.

Medical School and Surgical Training
I attended George Washington University Medical School in Washington DC. I graduated with honors and was elected into Alpha Omega Alpha, an honorary medical society for students that have excelled academically. In 1997 I moved to Seattle, WA to start my General Surgery training at the University of Washington. After my General Surgery residency, I was an active duty General Surgeon in the US Navy. After leaving the military, I completed my Plastic Surgery residency training at Oregon Health Sciences University, in Portland OR. I have completed a total of seven years of post-graduate surgical training.
Board Certification
I am a board-certified Plastic Surgeon with the American Board of Plastic Surgery, a recognized medical specialty within the American Board of Medical Specialties. I received my initial board certification in 2009 and my re-certification in 2019.
Awards
I am a current Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). I'm also an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS). I've been recognized in the local surgical community for excellence in Plastic Surgery. I have received the Seattle Met Magazine 'Top Doctor' award for Plastic Surgery. I have also been included in the RealSelf.com Hall of Fame for Plastic Surgery.
