Hereditary factors, weight fluctuations, and the aging process in general can all attribute to that enervated, saggy appearance of the under arms. With all the lifting our arms do for us, isn’t it only fair to consider doing the same for them? Brachioplasty is an arm lift surgery that’s specifically designed to contour the shape of your arms. The procedure is performed in a Seattle surgery center under general anesthesia. The incisions are usually placed on the inner aspect of the arm and may extend to just above the elbow. After the incision is made, the underlying supportive tissue is refashioned and tightened using internal sutures. Specific instructions will be given for medications, dressings, and follow-ups, however patients are usually able to go back to work within a week of the procedure. With over 20 years of experience, both of our Board Certified Plastic Surgeons have seen continuous success for our Seattle area patients with results!
